How it started
"I first got into barbering when my brother needed a haircut and I said I'll do it. I was around sixteen when I first picked up the clippers."
"I always thought cutting hair wasn't a career — more of a side hustle. So I picked it up on the side, and gradually fell into being a barber, enjoying the craft and building a passion for it."
The work
"People specifically come to me for tapers and my scissor work. A technique I've worked a lot on throughout my time cutting is learning how to create shape with my scissor work."
"I'm a self-taught barber — I learned from watching videos on YouTube, but I improved more from receiving tips from other barbers along the way."
Todd also takes out-of-hours appointments — cuts on his days off or past normal working hours, by prior arrangement.
